I’m Zoe Charlton-Brown, a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer based in east London.

Let’s build you up

I am probably not the most conventional personal trainer you’ll ever come across. I want to help you get stronger, fitter, and healthier (and I trained with the best to learn how to do that) but above all else I want you to feel better. I am a passionate believer in the positive impact that exercise can have on mental health, and I’m committed to helping others better understand how to connect mind and body in a way that benefits all aspects of life.

You don’t have to be the strongest, fastest, or fittest to experience the benefits of safe, sustainable, and structured training - but you do have to start somewhere. Knowing where to start or how to progress can be daunting, but we will work together to build your confidence, knowledge and skills. Through specialist programming that’s tailored to you, I will help you challenge yourself to unlock the potential you have to do hard things.

I take a holistic, client centric approach to personal training. One size does definitely not fit all when it comes to fitness, so I’ll work with you to develop a training program and strategy that best fits your needs and goals - and I’ll do that in a way that makes it enjoyable, challenging, and rewarding. I’ll motivate you to get better at the things you know how to do, push you to achieve things you didn’t know you could do, and challenge you to show up for yourself and be grateful for the body you are in.

Coaching Options

  • Personal Training is available on a monthly basis, with a minimum of 1 x session per week.

    Monthly packages include a full consultation, movement screening & assessment, bespoke programming for your own workouts (via my app) and regular check-ins

    Monthly Packages:

    1 x PT session weekly £300

    2 x PT sessions weekly £540

    There is a minimum commitment of two months required for us to start training together.

    If this seems expensive, consider this:

    Personal training is an investment in your future. It might seem like a lot, but I am almost certain that if you show up and do the work, that your return on that investment will be far greater than the financial cost. I am committed to helping my clients learn how to train independently in the long term. My goal is to get as many people as possible feeling confident, capable and motivated to keep moving and looking after their bodies. I’ll be by your side for as long as you need me to be, but if you know this is something you are going to struggle to afford in the longer term, then a shorter term arrangement is perfectly fine.

  • If you would like to train with me but you are not a member at Britannia or you live further afield, please contact me to discuss options.

    I offer online coaching to a small number of clients, delivering bespoke programming normally via a combination of Zoom sessions and my app (with full guidance).

    I also offer 1:1 and small group training in private gyms and other locations for those who would prefer to train in a quieter environment.

  • If you have a specific goal or idea you’d like to discuss in order to create a programme that you don’t see illustrated in the other options here, I am always happy to discuss your requirements - please just ask!

What to expect

Everyone starts their personal training journey at a different point; you might be a complete newcomer to training or you might be a seasoned gym-goer who wants my help getting to the next level or discovering a better way to train. I undertake detailed consultations with all new clients so I can ensure I am the best trainer for you.

Once we have a foundational understanding of what you’re looking to get from your training, I’ll assess your movement, mobility, and fitness level in order to programme bespoke sessions for you to meet you where you are.

You’ll train at an intensity and rate that is unique to you, building strength, improving mobility and learning how to move better not just in your training but in every day life.

A key part of training with me is education - I want you to become familiar with all aspects and modes of training so that you know the “why” as well as the “how”. I want to help all my clients become self sufficient in the gym in the long term.
